Team building and cardboard art installation at the Cinemex anniversary. Objective: The client company is a leader in creating banking software and has been in the market for 15 years. For their partners' anniversary at a country hotel, the daytime program needed to be organized as a team-building event, with the outcome being seamless teamwork and large-scale decorations for the evening celebration. Implementation: It was decided to create a large-scale art installation consisting of white cardboard cubes of various sizes, symbolizing a pixel—the smallest unit of computer graphics. The installation included suspended elements—“clouds,” floor structures, and “floating” cubes in the air. The challenge of this project lay in the fact that the participants were from the banking sector and lacked construction skills. The structures had to be assembled in just three hours, and they needed to be assembled exactly as planned. For the preparation, 25 professional workers were involved to prepare the cubes. On the day of the event, a team of 10 instructors oversaw the assembly process, ensuring everything was built correctly and motivating the teams to work together. The secure installation and checking of the attached cubes were handled by 7 professional riggers, who also worked on mounting the “floating” cubes during the break before the festive dinner. Ten types of instructions were developed for each team, and pre-assembled templates were attached to the rising stage truss above the entire area. This approach created an element of surprise and grandeur for the project. On the event day, the Cinemex art installation became the largest installation in Russia. |
